Interior Inspiration

If you've been hanging around here for a while, you know that I enjoy great interior design, and I know many of you do as well. I recently stumbled upon this room and fell in love with it. I love how it is bold yet very sleek and open - a clean canvas punctuated by patterns and saturated colors.  It inspried me so much, that I decided to take it on as sartorial inspiration. Besides the clean look, I loved playing with the color palate and patterns. I was quite literal with my interpretation of the palate here. The patterns are a bit less literal - they were important accents in the room, so used pattern as accents as well. The great frames on the wall were a perfect excuse to rock my glasses. It's wonderful how the space is structured, but still has an element of softness and comfort. It's light and airy, but grounded by the darker tones - the perfect combination.
